It is important that you feel comfortable training at our dojo, so we provide you with a no-strings attached 2 week trial, and will allow you to see if our programs and our school is for you. Our aim is to build mind, body and character through our traditional martial arts program.
We offer a variety of class times for students aged 5 and above and there is no maximum age. You can view our full range of programmes under the about us section.
The best way to see whether you would enjoy practicing karate or kobudo, and to ask any questions, is to come along to watch or participate in a class.
We offer a no-strings attached trial class period for prospective students to ensure our programs are right for you. Complete the form on this page and we’ll send you everything you need to get started.
5 – 8 Yrs
Our Mon Syllabus is tailored specifically to introduce young children, between the ages of 5-8, to the foundations of Karate. We administer the tools and provide the necessary knowledge to ensure the long term development of your child. Depending on the students experience and ability, they may be placed in either the Mon or Junior Kyu Programme.
Junior Kyu Programme
9 -12 Yrs
Our Junior Kyu Syllabus ensures that children within ages 9-12, are equipped with the imperative skills, not only to prepare them for Senior Kyu training, but everyday life. This allows students to continue building their knowledge already established within the Mon Programme, but also provided further opportunities both in and outside the Dojo. This includes both our Leadership Programme and the ability to practise Karate competitively.
Senior Kyu Programme
Our Senior Kyu Syllabus is used by the majority of existing students, however older children and adult beginners will also be placed in this Programme. This is developed for teenagers, 13 years and above that allows like minded individuals to work and train together. Classes do not only involve Karate exclusively, but we also incorporate fitness and practical self-defence into our syllabus. Students in this programme are also eligible to enrol in Kobudo Classes and Competitions.
One of our popular programs is our adults class. We cater for all ages and abilities. The program not only teaches you the art of Karate but it also teaches you skills for self defence and confidence building. The program has been developed to improve your stretching, balance and some cardio to improve one’s wellbeing.
